          My name is Cedric. I care about animals because they are sometimes cute but they are getting stronger and they are laerning. And when they lost their life it feels really sad to me.

          Something I learn about animals is that they are sometimes killed because of over population. They need homes and shelters and caring from people. They need help to help from illness, and ach and more.

          If you want to help you should find shelter for them and call for help. Another way to help is make toys ( the best thing is to give em to pets ) or buy toys for them. And my class posted 2 toys on how to make them for people.

I learned that most animals are homeless and get abused. I also learned what puppy mills do to animals. You should spay your and neuter your dogs as well.

My name is  David. I Care about  animals because I wanted a dog when I Was young  cause dog are cute and  they are obey very. I wanted to take care of dogs but I don’t have one. 

I learn that dogs are treated badly and there over population is bad. So get your dog sprayed or neutered. So they will not make puppy or kitten so you should get your dog spayed or neutered.

If You want to help animals you should get your cat  and dogs spay and neutered so they will not  make puppy and kittens also if you want a cat or dog you should adopt Instant of a store because most stores are made form puppy mills in a small cage forced to breed.

My name is Ivy and I care about animals because when there is nobody by your side your animal is. It is like your best friend that’s always by you. Animals are fun to play with every day.  So take care of them have a fun time.

Something I learned about is to spay your pets. And to be nice to them and treat them the way you treat anyone. Also don’t kill your animals. Is to adopt a pet in a shelter not in a store.

          Something I learned about animals is that they overpopulate and they kill them in their sleep. I also learned that they force the animals in puppy mills to have babies.in puppy mills sometimes the animals go cage crazy. I also learned that you should spay and neuter your dog and cat. They do this so they don’t have any babies.

          If you want to help animal, you should donate money, you could also do a fundraiser. Also make toys for animals so they have something special to play with. You can also make clothes and blankets if they are cold.

HELPING ANIMALS

Hello! My name is Leo and I’m in James ward school. My class and I made the toys and blog. I care about animals because I always wanted a dog. I also once helped a dog that was injured.

Something I learn about animals is that dogs and cats over populate and people kill them. I also learn to adopt dogs from a shelter and not a pet store.

If you want to help animals you should neuter them. Don’t put them outside on cold temperature days and don’t hurt them.

Dog Care

     Hi, my name is Sherry. I am from James Ward School and I am a 5^th grader.

I like animals because they won’t let us feel lonely. Most of the peoples say that animals and humans are friends, especially dogs. Most of the time my parents are working and only my sister, me and my dog is at home. We always do everything together. Like eating, doing homework, and play games together. My dog never let me feel lonely at all!

How can you guys help animals is to take care of them well and never treat them bad.  Some of the dog/cats will remember the time when you treat them bad. It depends! Feed them at the morning and night; walk them in every 4 hours. Then at night, about 10:00 P.M, make them sleep.

Donating the Toys

We donated the toys that we made to an animal shelter called Canines and Felines Inc.  Here are some pictures of the dogs at the animals shelter playing with our toys.

Toy Making

Hello!  We are students from James Ward, and today we are going to share how to make pet toys.  We love animals at Ward so we are making toys for our four legged friends out there. Also, we will give you tips on an easier made toy.  We want to help animals.  Mostly what we are trying to do is save cats and dogs, and make them feel like they're loved. Then show pictures of what we did.  So check this out!

How we made the sock toy:

First we collected the materials: socks, newspaper, and markers. To make it easier first draw little faces on the sock. Don't add too much color, it will make the dogs mouth look that color.  Then take a clean sock.  Take bunches of newspapers and stuff the sock.  We used newspaper because it would not hurt the pets.  Last part is to tie the sock.

How we made the braided toys:

At first we gathered the materials, such as towels, scissors, and t-shirts. Make sure the towels and t-shirts are clean.  Then we cut them into three strips.  Warning it can be messy.  Have someone hold one end while cutting because it makes it easier.  Next, we tied a knot.  Then, we braided it.  Here is a tip, if one person holds one end then the other person braids, it is easier.  You can also put something heavy on the one end when doing it by yourself.  At last, we tie another knot at the end.  Taaadaaa!
